December Real Estate Update for the Okanogan Valley

OKANOGAN VALLEY MARKET REPORT
Home sales were up again slightly in November! There were 19 homes sold in the Okanogan Valley, compared to 18 in October. The average sale price was $166,658 with an average of 201 days on the market. There were nine land sales in November, also up from eight in October. The average time on the market was 318 days. Home sales were up in October! There were 18 homes sold in the Okanogan Valley in October, compared to nine in September. The average sale price was $135,515, with an average of 138 days on the market. There were eight land sales, compared to six in September. The average was 311 days on market in October, compared to 105 in September. Search homes and land.

Home sales were up in August in the Okanogan Valley. There were 24 homes sold compared to 17 in July, and significantly higher than one year ago! The average home sale price was $145,639 compared to $128,147 last month, and the average marketing time was 180 days. There were five land sales in August, with an average of 257 days on market. Paying a little more attention to health lately, I have become a total food label reader and avoid extra "junk" that seems to get slipped into our food.  My family loves ranch dressing, so on a quest to discover a good recipe to make my own, I stumbled across a blog called Gwen's Nest who just happened to have a great recipe for ranch dressing mix that I thought I would share.  I ordered the ingredients from azurestandard.com, or you could probably buy them in bulk at your local health food store.  Enjoy!

OKANOGAN VALLEY MARKET REPORT

Home sales were down slightly from last month, but several of the higher priced homes are finally moving!  There were 14 homes sold in April in the Okanogan Valley, with an average of 250 days on the market.  The average sales price was $247,643 - up significantly from an average sales price of $126,847 in March!  As of May 8, there are 254 active residential listings.  Search homes here.  

There were six land sales in April, with an average of 513 days on market.  Currently there are 440 active land listings. There was also one sale in the Farm and Ranch category.  Be sure and check out the Featured Properties section below - lots of listing changes and additions!
