June Real Estate Update for the Okanogan Valley

OKANOGAN VALLEY MARKET SNAPSHOT

Residential sales were down for May, with only 5 home sales in the Okanogan Valley.  The average number of days on market was 185, and the average sales price was $114,300.  There are 16 pending sales, and 273 active residential listings.  Search homes here .  


Land sales for May were up - there were 7 land sales in May, with 16 pending sales and 462 active land listings.

*  Crazy spring so far!  Plenty of rain, and when it quits raining and warms up, snow is melting from the mountains!  The county commissioners have declared a State of Emergency due to the potential for major flooding in the area.

Spinach Salad

I got this recipe from a friend - I love these kinds of salads!  And with spinach being in abundance this time of year, thought it would be good to pass along...

Mix together:  Spinach, thin sliced red onion, sliced almonds (or nut of your choice), dried cranberries, feta cheese, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
